About Drew Magic

Based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Whether you have a need for entertaining an audience in a theatre or hall, a small group as part of an event at home or one on one strolling magic, I can tailor a show to entertain in an engaging and fun way. I have a specialty for small groups, parlour and one on one magic. But some of my favourite shows have been to audiences of over 200. Magic with a storyline relaxes the audience and everyone can have fun. Most of my stories resonate with middle to upper primary and adult audiences. I tailor my stories to match your theme or message, but always make them fun and full of amazement.

I also have a lot of fun with the under 10s. Shows for younger shildren are lighter on the story and more about just purely having fun. Consider a magician for your child's next birthday party, Christening or Baptism.

Regionally, I'm focussed in South Australia, but have performed in Sydney and even Uganda, Vietnam and Wellington, New Zealand (once)!

Before 2016 - Beginnings	Although I have been performing magic for several years, Drew Magic wasn't launched until 2016. In 2013, I joined and became an active presenter in club shows for the Adelaide branch of I.B.M. - Ring 148 the Garden City Ring.
June 2016 - Time to get started	Magic is for sharing. This year I have launched Drew Magic to offer my stories and magic to you.
November 2016 - Saturday Afternoon Magic	Launching with a new concept of magic presentation for Adelaide as a magic cafe layout. This was inspired by Bingo Jack's recent trip to France.
February 2017 - Adelaide Fringe Debut - Magic on the Edge	As a first for Adelaide magicians, the Magic clubs of Adelaide combined to present a show at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. I managed, produced and performed also in my first Adelaide Fringe appearance. We sold out the whole season!Magic on the Edge Weekend Notes review
February 2018 - The Mystery of Magic	Magic on the Edge - The Mystery of Magic Glam adelaide review Since the first season went so well, we decided to continue the show. I produced, managed and performed and, with 3 other magicians we sold out another whole season!
February 2019 - The Impossible becomes Reality	Magic on the Edge - The impossible becomes realityI'm hooked now! Due to the other magicians spinning off their own show; this year, we performed a duet. No longer the Illusionists on a budget, think Penn & Teller on a budget! We have now been part of launching the fringe career of 8 Adelaide Magicians.
February 2020 - Life	Ok, maybe I'm getting carried away now. Producing and performing in "A Taste of Magic", "Magic on the Edge - Life" and The Magic Cafe. This year, Magic on the Edge is my first solo show.
February 2021 - Big Ideas	Mindshare Review Produced Confessions of a Fake Fake Psychic and produced and performed in another Magic on the Edge - Success and The Magic Cafe
February 2022 - Producing	In the heat of COVID, I took a back seat and Produced and supported other shows.
